Welcome Todd & Moore as new sponsor
Jul 9, 2012_With great pleasure, we welcome Todd & Moore Sporting Goods as a
new sponsor for 2012. Todd & Moore is a locally owned and operated sporting
goods store located at 620 Huger Street, just one block from Carolina Stadium.
Todd & Moore has been specializing in team sports since 1944 and has
employees with over 1000 years of experience.
Todd & Moore is a great addition to our sponsor team as they carry lots of
Gamecock apparel, caps, and spirit items, and they are located on the Home Run
course. 100 % of their financial sponsorship will help The Ray Tanner
Foundation’s work with disadvantaged children and families. Todd & Moore’s
sponsorship will also include the 12K water/energy stop on Lincoln Avenue and a
new cheering section on Huger Street directly across the street from the store.
We are thrilled to have 3 local sporting goods stores partner with us to sponsor
the Ray Tanner Home Run. What an excellent example of the community working
together. When you get on the Ray Tanner Home Run sponsor team – everyone
wins!

Go Green - 2012 Home Run for Your Health
and the Planet's Health
Jun 25, 2012 Our scenic race course and amazing finish at Home Plate inside
the Carolina Baseball Stadium are good reminders of the importance of "Going
Green." This year the Ray Tanner Home Run will increase the use of digital
communications, continue reusable race packets, add recycle containers to the
Stadium venue, increase the use of recycled materials and as always finish line
food will be donated to local shelters. As a Green event our goal is to ensure we
have as major impact on charity and a minimal impact on the environment.
